The artist writes, “I know artists create their best work when pulling from personal experience. This bull was the subject of numerous magazine covers that I photographed when working with Sports Afield magazine. After spending countless hours photographing and sculpting bull elk, I feel this piece depicts everything I find exciting about them.”
