The artist writes, “Historically, a pale horse symbolizes death. Though this woman doesn’t necessarily mean death is on the way – she does mean business. She is strong, she’s smart and she’s not to be trifled with. She is ready to help her people whether that means finding and hunting food or defending her tribe.”
