According to the artist, “A pause along the trail and a moment to gaze in awe and wonderment at the strange landscape of eroded rock ‘hoodoos’ might conjure up thoughts of what members of the spirit world dwell among these mysterious formations. Perhaps it is their hope that a moment of quiet contemplation will evoke a sign or vision to guide these Native Americans in their travels.”
