The artist writes, “Long Shadows and Clouds was inspired from a painting trip in Southern Utah near Mexican Hat. I’m always amazed at simple desert subjects, when the late light gets ahold of it. Nothing much calmer than a clear day on the desert, as the sun gets low, that last hour is beautiful.”
