The artist writes, “After the first Blue Norther of the season on the Continental Divide, it’s time to move the high country string down to lower pastures where they can be sheltered and fed more easily. The Angus cattle that pastured all summer in high valleys have also been moved to better shelter. And, the mountain sides have been left to the blowing snows and to await the return of spring.”
