Proceeds from this sale will benefit the Art Acquisition Fund for the Autry Museum of the American West.

According to the artist, “Bison look like docile cattle, but they are the most unpredictable of the wildlife with which I am familiar. I have been charged from a great distance for no apparent reason. Bison are a favorite of mine to paint because of their shape and bulk.”
