The artist writes, “Inspired by the classic movie ‘The Searchers’ directed by John Ford, Canyon Caravan depicts three hands of the Babbitt Ranches in northern Arizona. Set in an area of the ranch on the edge of the south rim of the Grand Canyon, this country reminded me of the panoramic views seen in that epic movie.”
