According to the artist, “Walking through the small villages in central Mexico, you will see countless street vendors plying their wares. These merchants are the arteries of their community. Hard at work, men and women sell their freshly picked fruit and vegetables in the warm sunlight as their children play. This is an honest life they lead, and one I have always admired.”
