The artist writes, “It seems as though my best photo opportunities with wildlife always come in the dimming freezing hours of the evening. Too often, the light has gone behind the hills and mountains and my fingers are too numb to photograph. This time, however, the light was perfect, and shed a glow that warmed me to my toes.
