According to the artist, “The Etosha National Park in south-west Africa is more inaccessible than most other national parks and has an individual beauty all its own. [It’s] a remote, harsh, dry and dusty landscape of rock and glistening white salt pans, even the sky is a different hue of blue. The waterholes team with wildlife. Etosha Park also has some of the largest concentrations of zebra and gemsbok to be seen anywhere in Africa.”
