According to Fery biographer, Larry Len Peterson, The Belton Chalet was constructed “across from Belton train station for the Great Northern Railway. It was a three-story, ten room hotel with a dining room and kitchen. Belton Chalet opened for business on June 27, 1910.”

Condition ReportSurface condition is very good. Slight bar marks along top, bottom, and right portions of painting. Spot of inpainting at left-center, near edge of frame. Two spots of inpainting in lower-center. Small spot of inpainting in lower-right, near edge of frame.

As viewed from the back: One-inch patch on left side, near stretcher bar. One-half-inch in diameter patch at bottom-center. Four-inch-by-one-inch patch at center-right, near edge of stretcher bar.
