According to the artist, “I always enjoy mixing different tribal artifacts together in my paintings, whether of the Plains, Southwest, Woodlands, Northwest Coastal, Eastern tribes, what have you. I’ve always felt that in today’s world, there is a kinship among all Native Americans. Quite possibly that is the primary reason I feel free to mix the artifacts. In most cases, I prefer to express the subtle spiritual and commonalities of Spirit of the Native People.”
