As viewed through glass. Paper appears to be slightly yellowed. Two one-inch long (one vertical, one diagonal) tears at bottom-center, at edge of mat. One pinhole in upper-left corner. Small hole in left horse’s leg.

Navajo Rider
As viewed through glass. Vertical crease along right side of painting. Diagonal crease in lower-left corner. Small hole in upper-left corner. Four pinholes along top, near edge of mat.

Navajo Horsemen
As viewed through glass. Vertical crease in center, from top to bottom. Slight mat burns visible along edges. Paper appears slightly yellowed, but otherwise is in good condition.
